You will have strong mechanical aptitude, sound process control experience, and the ability to manage high-tech automated equipment across multiple production lines. Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Grade 12 plus N4 or trade/technical qualification
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in an automated factory environment
- Hands-on experience operating and maintaining high-tech machinery
- Working knowledge of QMS and OSH Act
Technical Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain equipment: COS machines, enveloping, welding, sealing, leak and date coding machines
- Conduct start-ups, tool/mould/head changes per production schedule
- Maintain extraction and cooling systems, ensure safety and cleanliness of assembly lines
- Monitor production quality and act immediately to correct deviations
- Accurately complete production logs and job cards
