Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry seeks an experienced Plant Manager to assume responsibility for Materials, Production and Maintenance activities. This role offers invaluable scope for growth within the company and is looking for someone ambitious enough to make this role their own. For the position you would be required to have:  
• BSc/BTech Mechanical Engineering degree essential
• 4 years plus Manufacturing/Maintenance/Production Management experience essential
• Ideally, experience gained within a small to medium-size enterprise
• Ideally, 2 years of manufacturing experience gained internationally
• Packaging or FMCG industry experience would be preferable 
• Experience in Extrusion, Printing, Lamination, Conversion or slitting would be ideal.
• A proven track record of managing a team of Artisans and/or Engineers

Project Manager – Manufacturing

East Rand, Johannesburg

The position requires you to take charge of projects and assets.
Our client is seeking a candidate with sound engineering knowledge, experience in project management, has a good understanding of SHEQ management.
You will present a strong technical background in both mechanical and electrical fields.
Ideally, you will have studied towards a GCC and headed up an Engineering department. 

This is a senior-level position.

Head of Legal



You will be required to proactively manage the company’s legal environment by developing and driving the implementation of a legal strategy and framework. Manage, oversee, regulate and minimise the risk and impact of applicable laws, rules and standards on the business activities of the Group. Render a comprehensive legal advisory service with an emphasis on contract drafting, negotiating and vetting of commercial contracts, governance, regulation and compliance. Responsible for the updating and management of the Company's legal documentation.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
• Law degree (BA Law/LLB/BCom law)
• Admitted as an Attorney or Advocate in South Africa
• Approx. 10 years post articles experience, working in corporate commercial and/or REIT environment and/or property law environment, from a law firm or legal department
• Exposure to and experience in the Property Industry and Listed environment advantageous
• Experience in vetting and drafting commercial agreements a prerequisite
• Knowledge of structured lending transactions
• Knowledge of JSE listed requirements and experience in the sector
• Retail Lease experience
• Property law experience
• Commercial litigation
• Experience in the financial sector
