UAT Team Lead

The UAT Team Lead role in Sandton involves establishing and managing a dedicated User Acceptance Testing (UAT) team to ensure the quality and reliability of applications built on React, React Native, and Electron, particularly those interacting with hardware components.
You will bring over five years of software testing experience, strongly emphasising UAT, and proven team leadership skills, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
This role requires deep technical knowledge of UAT processes, automated testing tools, and test management frameworks, as well as proficiency in creating and executing precise test cases.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, SDLC, and version control systems like GitHub is essential.
Strong analytical abilities, excellent communication, and organisational skills are vital for effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing multiple projects, and meeting deadlines.
Preferred candidates will have experience testing software-hardware interactions and demonstrate adaptability to complex, evolving environments.
Key responsibilities include building and mentoring the UAT team, developing testing frameworks, managing defects, and driving continuous improvement.
