Technical Sales Representative Automotive

You will be a field-based sales professional responsible for driving revenue growth, protecting market share, and expanding the automotive product footprint within the automotive and manufacturing sector.
 
The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, strengthening existing customer relationships, and executing sales initiatives aligned to budget and regional strategy. Success requires a commercially astute individual who can translate market intelligence into measurable sales performance while maintaining disciplined administration, compliance, and cost control.
 
This position operates at the interface of customer, operations, and finance, ensuring sustainable profitability and service excellence across the territory.
 
Requirements
  • Certificate in Sales & Marketing (NQF 5) – essential; Diploma (NQF 6) advantageous.
  • Minimum 3 years’ external sales experience within a manufacturing or automotive environment.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing customer accounts.
  • Working knowledge of SAP/ERP systems and MS Office.
  • Strong analytical ability to interpret sales data and customer buying patterns.
  • Commercially driven with sound negotiation, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel within the assigned region.
