A well-established organisation in the built environment sector is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Storeman to support stock control, inventory management, and day-to-day store operations. This role is ideal for an organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment and takes pride in maintaining accurate inventory processes.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12
- Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, or inventory control environment in the built environment
- Basic computer literacy with exposure to inventory systems and Excel
- Understanding of stock control and inventory management principles
- Physically fit and comfortable performing manual handling duties
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming stock
- Pick, pack, issue, and allocate stock against operational requirements
- Conduct stock counts and assist with stock reconciliations
- Maintain inventory records and report discrepancies or damaged stock
- Coordinate with procurement and operational teams
- Ensure stores areas remain organised, compliant, and safety-focused
