Senior NetApp Engineer

A seasoned Senior NetApp Engineer is sought to lead enterprise storage operations and report directly to the Chief Technology Officer. The position offers a hybrid working environment and requires 2 – 3 days in the office a week.
This role demands:
- An in-depth technical proficiency in NetApp ONTAP environments, including configuring and managing storage controllers, Fibre Channel networking, disk arrays, and data protection architectures.
- You must demonstrate a minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience managing NetApp systems in large-scale enterprise settings, with the ability to optimise and troubleshoot block and file-based protocols (SMB, NFS, CIFS).
- 8–10 years of experience in storage and backup environments is highly desirable.
The ideal professional will be certified:
- Across multiple NetApp disciplines, including NCDA, NCSE, NCIE, and NAHSE
- Additional competencies in Veritas InfoScale, NetBackup, and multi-platform Linux/Unix systems.
- SAN certifications.
- Hold a minimum NQF 4 qualification, with NQF 5 or higher preferred
