A leading, regulated enterprise organisation is seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to take ownership of a complex hybrid IT environment spanning on-premises and Microsoft Azure platforms. This permanent, senior-level role is suited to an experienced infrastructure professional who thrives in secure, highly available, compliance-driven environments.

 

The role focuses on the design, deployment, optimisation, and support of enterprise infrastructure, including HP Synergy blade servers, HPE storage, Hyper-V clusters, SQL failover environments, and resilient LAN/WAN/VPN networks. You will play a key role in cloud integration, backup and disaster recovery, capacity planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.

 

You will also provide senior-level escalation support, mentor junior engineers, and work closely with the IT Infrastructure Manager to align infrastructure with business strategy.
