As a Sales Representative, you’ll drive new business, build client relationships, and close deals that contribute to South Africa’s energy transition. They do not have to come from the industry as long as they have a technical aptitude. Looking for a hunter. Will be calling on corporate clients (large projects) min R3Mill per project. Basic salary plus lucrative uncapped commission.
 
Minimum Requirements
  • Experience: 3+ years in B2B sales — ideally in lighting, energy, or electrical sectors
  • Education: Sales, marketing, or technical/electrical background preferred
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with retrofit projects, payback calculations, and efficiency ROI
  • MUST have B2B sales experience and the ability to communicate at Csuite level
  • Strong communicator
  • Confident negotiator
  • Target-driven
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Generation: Cold calling, networking, and direct outreach to industrial & commercial prospects
  • Client Consultations: Assess sites and tailor proposals to demonstrate ROI & carbon savings
  • Proposal Management: Prepare and present quotes and close deals
  • Collaboration: Work closely with technical teams for smooth project delivery
  • Reporting: Keep CRM updated and provide weekly sales pipeline status
