Reporting to the Head of R&D, you will lead the laboratory and drive projects from stability testing to commercial launch. You will lead a team of chemists and get products into production on time.
What you will own
- Weekly lab plans, project trackers and reporting to the Head of R&D
- NPD and formulation upgrades from stability through to launch
- Raw material, packaging and regulatory change projects
- SOPs, BOMs, MMIs and Change Control documentation
What you bring
- BSc in a relevant science, a formulation diploma and a postgraduate Project
Management qualification
- 6 to 8 years in consumer products R&D, including 5 years in management
- You deliver on deadline and within budget, not just on paper
- You grow chemists, not just manage them
Your technical toolkit
- Stability testing and scale-up to commercial batch
- Syspro BOM and job card maintenance
- Batch troubleshooting with Manufacturing and QA
