Join a reputable manufacturing plant as a Quality Control Officer, where your attention to detail, technical proficiency, and commitment to product excellence will be highly valued. You will be responsible for monitoring production processes, inspecting products, identifying non-conformities, and ensuring strict adherence to ISO 9001 standards. This hands-on role involves collaboration with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure product consistency, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
- National Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Quality Management, Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years’ QC experience in manufacturing (steel or metal fabrication preferred)
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 auditing and quality control systems
- Skilled in using measurement tools, interpreting technical drawings, and applying GD&T principles
- Experience in warehouse processes and stock handling
- Excellent MS Excel skills (pivot tables, reporting, formulas)
Technical & Soft Skills:
- Understanding of welding, CNC machining, and fabrication processes
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and drive cross-functional collaboration
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-process and final inspections; identify and report defects
- Maintain quality documentation and inspection records
- Support root cause analysis and CAPA implementation
- Assist with internal/external audits and continuous improvement initiatives
