QC Analyst

A manufacturing organisation requires a QC Analyst to support laboratory operations and ensure that raw materials, packaging components, bulk products and finished goods meet defined quality and compliance standards. You will perform analytical testing, support process control activities and maintain accurate laboratory documentation in line with established procedures.
 
This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong HPLC experience and exposure to regulated environments, such as the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, or related manufacturing sectors.
 
Responsibilities include performing HPLC analysis, testing and approving raw materials, packaging and finished goods, analysing water samples, preparing and standardising chemical solutions, verifying equipment calibration, and maintaining laboratory instruments in optimal working condition.
 
Minimum Requirements
  • Grade 12 with an ND in Analytical Chemistry or a BSc in Chemistry or a related field
  • 3–5 years’ HPLC experience
  • Proficiency with analytical equipment, including HPLC, pH meters, viscometers, microscopes, melting point meters, laboratory scales, and ultrasonic baths
  • Laboratory experience in pharmaceutical, cosmetic or related industries
  • Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel and Access
