A leading multinational within the industrial and engineered products sector is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead and optimise the end-to-end procurement function across Southern Africa.
The role requires a commercially astute supply chain leader with proven experience managing local and international procurement, imports and exports, supplier performance, inventory optimisation, and inbound freight management within a high-volume automotive manufacturing environment.
Minimum Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management
- Minimum 5 years’ supply chain experience within automotive manufacturing environments – essential
- Proven management experience in a senior procurement or supply chain leadership role
- Experience beyond buyer, purchasing, or inventory-focused positions
- Strong procurement, supplier management, import/export, and freight management experience
- Sound understanding of MRP, demand planning, and inventory optimisation
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end procurement strategy and supplier management
- Manage demand planning, stock optimisation, and freight operations
- Oversee imports, exports, compliance, and procurement governance
