A well-established parts and service business needs a Stores Controller who takes initiative and pride in their work. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will plan, control, replenish and purchase parts, keeping the stores accurate, organised and free of stock loss.
What you will own
- Parts replenishment to agreed minimum levels and local purchasing
- Receiving, picking, packing and dispatch of parts
- Stores administration, transfers and control registers
- Stock counts, housekeeping and loss prevention
What you bring
- Matric; post-matric study is an advantage
- 5+ years in a stores environment, ideally parts or equipment
- Driver’s licence and own transport
- You find the solution rather than the excuse
- You own the result and take pride in it
Your technical toolkit
- Stock control, replenishment planning and purchasing
- MS Excel, Word and a stock or ERP system
- Forklift licence, or willing to train
