You will be responsible for maintaining, installing, and modifying mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment within a manufacturing environment.
This includes planned and breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring optimal machine performance through alignment, calibration, and predictive maintenance.
The role requires:
- National Certificate in Electromechanics.
- Millwright apprenticeship with a trade test.
- and at least three years of post-apprenticeship experience.
- Must have a strong background in industrial machinery mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, PLCs, and electrical drives.
Key competencies include the ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and perform under pressure while maintaining high accuracy.
Strong problem-solving skills, adherence to safety and OHSA standards, and effective resource utilisation are critical.
The role also involves documentation, root cause analysis, and compliance with planned maintenance schedules.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a commitment to continuous improvement and teamwork are required.
A willingness to work overtime and standby duty and contribute to workplace safety and efficiency initiatives is essential.
