A leading solar solutions provider is seeking a detail-focused Materials Controller to take ownership of project stock flow and warehouse integrity across its industrial solar portfolio. This hands-on role is crucial in supporting seamless project execution by ensuring all materials are accurately prepared, dispatched, returned, and controlled to the highest standards. Qualifications:
- Grade 12 (Matric) minimum.
- Post-school logistics or inventory management certificates are advantageous.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years in warehousing, stock control, or project logistics, preferably within electrical, solar, or construction sectors.
- Familiarity with PV components (inverters, batteries, racking, cables) is a strong advantage.
Technical & Other Skills:
- Deep understanding of stock binning, labelling, and system alignment.
- Proven ability to manage project BOM preparation, accurate dispatch, and timely returns processing.
- Strong attention to detail in inventory reconciliation and warranty intake compliance.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with the project and logistics teams.
- Commitment to safety, housekeeping, and warehouse compliance standards.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with solar project timelines and technical equipment.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and proactive approach to stock readiness and shortages.
