A specialist manufacturing and export-driven organisation in Cape Town is seeking a commercially astute Management Accountant to support strategic and operational decision-making across the business. This role focuses on delivering meaningful financial insights through robust management reporting, costing, budgeting, forecasting, contribution analysis and divisional performance reporting within a technically advanced production environment.
You will partner closely with operational, production, and commercial teams, translating complex financial and manufacturing data into practical recommendations that improve profitability, efficiencies, and business performance across local and international operations.
Minimum Requirements
- CA(SA) or completed CIMA qualification essential
- Minimum 5 years’ management accounting experience within manufacturing
- Experience supporting operational performance, costing methodologies, reporting improvements, and continuous process optimisation within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong exposure to budgeting, forecasting, costing, variance and contribution analysis
- Experience in export-focused or multi-currency environments advantageous
- ERP experience essential (Syspro, MS Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar)
- Advanced Excel and strong financial modelling capability
- Power BI or reporting tools advantageous
- Strong commercial and analytical capability
- Ability to communicate financial insights to non-financial stakeholders
- High attention to detail with a proactive, delivery-focused approach
