You will ensure the optimal operation of production equipment and facilities in an automotive manufacturing environment.
This role involves preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency.
Essential Requirements:
- A trade certification or diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Millwrighting, or a related field.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably within automotive.
- Strong technical expertise in mechanical systems, PLCs, pneumatic controls, and hydraulic systems is essential
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and schematics.
- Experience with manufacturing equipment such as crimping and automatic assembly machines is highly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills, effective time management and teamwork.
You will also contribute to process improvements, ensure compliance with safety regulations, maintain accurate maintenance records, and support production teams through equipment training and technical assistance.
Equipment uptime, adherence to maintenance schedules, and reductions in unplanned downtime will measure your success in this role.
