A well-established consumer products manufacturer in Cape Town’s Northern Suburbs needs a Machine Operator for its Packaging Department. Reporting to the Packaging Supervisors, you will set up and run filling and packing lines in a GMP-regulated facility where quality and hygiene matter on every batch.
What you will own
- Machine changeovers, setup and the correct change parts for each pack size
- Accurate fill volumes and balance checks to quality standards
- Cleaning of machinery and workstation according to procedure
- Accurate in-process documentation and reconciliation of every job
What you bring
- Grade 12 or NQF 4; Mathematics advantageous
- At least one year’s experience as a Machine Operator in manufacturing
- Assertive, with initiative and strong time management
- Accurate and composed when working under pressure
Your technical toolkit
- GMP and SOP compliance
- Good hand-eye coordination with small components
- Machine condition checks and maintenance reporting
