A leading manufacturer is seeking an experienced Machine Operators to join the Packaging Department. Reporting to the Supervisor, you will be responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining packaging machinery in compliance with GMP and SOP standards.
Essential Requirements:
- Must hold a Grade 12 or NQF 4 qualification with mathematics
- Possess at least one year of experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical aptitude is essential, particularly in machine setup, changeovers, and minor maintenance.
- Must demonstrate excellent hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and the ability to work with small components under pressure.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- A proactive, assertive approach to problem-solving is required.
You will show the ability to work independently while ensuring efficiency, hygiene, and product quality standards are consistently met. Familiarity with documentation control and job reconciliation procedures and a strong commitment to safety, performance targets, and continuous improvement are highly advantageous.
