Join the Technical Workshop team of a well-established technology business, reporting to the Technical Manager. You will repair and support the electronic equipment customers rely on, with occasional installations and site visits.
What you will own
- Component-level electronic and mechanical repairs, done neatly and on time
- Installation support, from consultation to hands-on fitting
- Configuring and testing sales demonstration equipment
- Accurate job records, good housekeeping and safe practice
What you bring
- Matric (Grade 12); a second language is advantageous
- Minimum 2 years repairing digital and/or RF equipment to component level
- Valid driver’s licence and your own reliable transport
- You stay calm and courteous with customers, even under pressure
- You work through shifting priorities with minimal supervision
Your technical toolkit
- SMD component soldering
- Windows, Microsoft Office and application software
- Label printing software and WLAN exposure
