Junior Sales Engineer

A well-established player in the industrial process treatment sector is looking for a technically minded Sales Engineer to grow its client base and drive tender success. You’ll manage RFQs and quotations, build strong client relationships and convert leads into long-term business across industrial and consultant markets.
Minimum Requirements
- Engineering qualification, preferably Chemical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 2 years’ sales/business development experience, ideally within process treatment industries
- Sound knowledge of industrial treatment systems, chemicals, consumables and spares
- Established network within industrial, consultant and supplier markets
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor client portals for RFQs and tender opportunities
- Prepare and submit quotations, proposals and tenders
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Identify new business through client visits, networking and cold calling
- Manage the sales pipeline from prospecting to contract award
- Track and report on sales activity and pipeline performance
- Ensure compliance with company policy and SHEQ requirements
