Reporting to the Head of Legal & Risk, you will support contract management, regulatory compliance, insurance, claims, governance and enterprise risk. You will gain hands-on exposure to sophisticated commercial agreements and work closely with internal stakeholders, external attorneys and insurance partners.
Strong analytical ability, commercial judgement and meticulous attention to detail are essential
Minimum Requirements
- LLB Degree essential
- Completed articles or equivalent corporate/commercial legal, risk or compliance experience
- Strong commercial contract drafting, review and interpretation skills
- Exposure to commercial law or contract negotiation advantageous
- Supply chain, transport, maritime or related operational sector exposure advantageous
- Understanding of international legal frameworks beneficial
Key Technical Competencies
You will review and draft SLAs, MSAs, NDAs, leases, finance and security agreements and other commercial documentation. You will identify contractual, legal and insurance risk, support negotiations and claims, conduct legal research and assist with regulatory compliance, due diligence and risk management.
