An established freight forwarding and logistics operation is seeking an experienced Import Controller to manage end-to-end import processes with precision, compliance, and a strong focus on customer service. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate customs clearance, authority releases, and on-time delivery in line with statutory and client requirements.

 

You will take full ownership of import shipments, from document verification and HS code application through to SARS entries, cargo dues, shipping line releases, and final delivery. This role requires close liaison with clients, shipping lines, unpack depots, authorities, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution and proactive issue resolution.
