Human Resources Manager

You will play a key role in a manufacturing company within the automotive industry, driving strategic HR initiatives that support operational excellence, workforce development, and organisational growth.
 
This role reports to the GM and requires a hands-on leader who is actively involved on the shop floor, engaging with employees, and ensuring compliance with industry and labour regulations.
 
Essential Requirements:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources is essential.
  • Extensive HR management experience in a unionised, manufacturing environment.
  • Strong Industrial Relations (IR) expertise is crucial.
  • The ability to manage complex employee relations issues.
  • Must deeply understand payroll systems (VIP/SAGE), including benefits administration and payroll preparation
  • Exceptional communication skills are required to collaborate with multinational divisions across EMEA and navigate cultural and linguistic diversity, particularly in stakeholder interactions.
  • The role demands flexibility, including after-hours availability for cross-time-zone communication.
 
This position involves designing and implementing HR strategies, including recruitment, role grading, performance management, and training. You will establish policies and processes while spearheading the setup and management of a Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) program.
