A  high-impact opportunity exists for a Human Resources Executive to shape and lead the people strategy in a growing logistics business. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role calls for a decisive, solutions-driven HR leader with strong change management foresight and a proven background in talent development.
 
A key priority will be designing and operationalising the newly launched company skills development centre – an internal training and development initiative that underpins the company’s growth and upskilling ambitions. This role demands strategic agility, operational excellence, and the ability to partner with executives to align HR with business performance.
 
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 5–8 years’ senior HR leadership experience, including unionised environments
  • Strong background in Training & Development; learning culture champion
  • Proven Change Management capability with a growth mindset
  • Excellent verbal and business writing skills; confident in executive communication
  • Strong MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Strategy design, policy development, and process governance
  • BBBEE scorecard alignment and statutory compliance (BCEA, LRA, EEA, NBCRFLI)
  • Payroll, compensation, and benefits administration
  • Talent acquisition, succession planning, and performance management
  • Skills development reporting and training implementation
  • Financial oversight of HR budgets and cost-saving initiatives
