Head of Sales – Call Centre

A dynamic leadership opportunity exists for a seasoned Call Centre Head of Sales to lead, scale, and drive performance across a fast-paced, high-volume outbound sales environment. This role requires a hands-on leader who has successfully managed a sales force of at least 500 seats and understands the nuances of a rapidly growing, non-corporate call centre culture.
 
The successful incumbent will develop and execute sales strategies, manage senior sales leadership, and ensure operational excellence to exceed client KPIs and deliver consistent growth.
 
Applicants must be FAIS compliant and registered Key Individuals with deep operational sales management experience in high-volume outbound call centres. This is not a role for corporate consultants or theory-based leaders—only proven operational sales leaders who can engage, lead, and scale from the ground up will be considered.

Key Requirements
  • Matric and FAIS-compliant; Key Individual registration essential
  • 8+ years in sales leadership within a large call centre (500+ seats)
  • Proven track record in building and scaling high-performance sales teams
  • Strong grasp of sales KPIs: RPC, BI/hr, CI/hr, Sales Ratio, Response Rates
  • Deep understanding of call centre sales strategy, compliance, and scripting
  • Highly effective leadership, motivational, and performance management skills
  • Excellent communication, planning, and organisational abilities 
  • Ability to operate under pressure and deliver measurable growth
