Our client is seeking a seasoned Head of HR to lead and deliver a senior-level Human Resource Management function that supports strategic business goals. The role requires a forward-thinking leader who can align HR strategy with organisational objectives while fostering an engaging, high-performance culture. This is a critical leadership role for an HR professional who thrives on driving capability, engagement, and business-aligned people solutions.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR Management, BCom HR, or Industrial Psychology (postgraduate qualification advantageous).
 - 6–8 years’ senior HR management experience, ideally within retail, FMCG, or multi-outlet industries.
 - Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation and proven experience in Industrial Relations.
 - Demonstrated capability in strategic HR leadership, coaching, change management, and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with EXCO, line managers, and employees to deliver the full spectrum of HR services, including talent management, performance management, recruitment, job evaluation, remuneration and benefits, organisational design, employee relations, and wellness.
 - Drive leadership and middle-management development programmes, ensuring retention and succession pipelines.
 - Lead the People Planning Review process and manage the People Capability Cycle.
 - Translate Great Place to Work survey results into meaningful action plans and culture-building initiatives.
 - Oversee HR policies, compliance, reporting, and engagement strategies to enhance the employee experience.
 - Partner with global HR colleagues to integrate best practices and innovation.
