A well-established, highly mechanised manufacturing operation is seeking an experienced and results-driven site leader. This is a senior leadership role.
The right candidate combines operational discipline, commercial awareness and people leadership. A genuine passion for manufacturing excellence is essential. You will lead across production, engineering, maintenance, quality, safety and cost control.
The focus is on driving performance, building capability and delivering consistently against business targets.
Qualifications:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management or Business Management
- Postgraduate qualification advantageous
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years in a manufacturing environment
- At least 5 years in a senior management role
- Demonstrated experience leading a highly mechanised plant
Essential Skills:
- Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles
- Budgeting, forecasting and production cost management
- Syspro or comparable ERP system (intermediate to advanced)
- Sound knowledge of SA labour legislation, OHSA and environmental compliance
- Preferred: Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification
