Field Service Technician

The position is based in the eMalahleni (Witbank Offices), reporting to the field supervisor.  
 
You be required to deliver technical services at customer sites, perform repairs, and conduct preventive maintenance.
 
The role requires a Grade 12 education, a driver’s license, A+ and N+ certifications, and 1.5 years of experience in a similar role.
 
Key skills include troubleshooting, independent work under pressure, strong communication, and teamwork. You will travel up to 75%, work flexible hours, and handle physically demanding tasks. Responsibilities include safety compliance, reporting, and promoting service offerings.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical services at customer sites
  • Solve basic customer issues and perform maintenance
  • Conduct service contract visits, repairs, and preventive maintenance
  • Support local installation and start-up of products
  • Identify sales leads and promote service offerings
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
  • Perform safety inspections and use PPE appropriately
  • Report unsafe conditions and deliver detailed site reports
