Reporting to the Specifications Manager, you will spend most of your time on building sites with contractors, recommending the right product systems and turning opportunities into orders. Parallel building or hardware sales experience is welcome.
What you will own
- Contractor, developer and asset owner accounts
- Site visits, product recommendations and application advice
- Quotations, pricing and orders through to delivery
- Your sales plan, pipeline and monthly targets
What you bring
- Matric; sales or technical qualification advantageous
- Fluent English; additional South African languages advantageous
- 3 to 5 years’ technical or field sales in building, construction or hardware
- Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle
- You build relationships on site, not just over email
- You follow every order through to a happy customer
Your technical toolkit
- Solution-based selling and accurate quotations
- Building product selection and application knowledge
- Microsoft Office, especially Excel
