A well-established manufacturing operation seeks a technically capable Electrical Draughtsman to join its Process Engineering team. Reporting to the Senior Design Engineer, this role supports plant operations by preparing, maintaining, and optimising electrical drawings and technical documentation.
You will contribute to engineering support activities, continuous improvement initiatives, and project design work to ensure reliable and safe plant performance. The position requires a strong understanding of electrical systems in a manufacturing environment and the ability to accurately interpret and update technical drawings in line with operational and compliance requirements.

Minimum Requirements
- National Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Up to 3 years’ experience in electrical drafting or design within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Proficiency in MS Office and discipline-specific drafting software
- Sound understanding of electrical drawings, installations and production processes
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and maintain electrical drawings, ensuring accuracy and version control
- Track and implement drawing revisions aligned with plant modifications
- Support ISO 50001 compliance and engineering documentation standards
- Participate in improvement initiatives and engineering projects
- Assist with risk monitoring, compliance requirements, and cost control activities
- Maintain effective internal stakeholder relationships to support operational performance
