An established organisation within the built environment and large-scale residential project delivery sector is looking to appoint an experienced Contract Manager to lead multiple construction projects across KwaZulu-Natal. This senior leadership role requires a commercially astute construction professional with strong project execution capability, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex developments from planning through to final delivery.
Minimum Requirements
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum 10 years’ construction management experience
- Proven experience managing large-scale residential developments
- Strong financial, budgeting and cost control capability
- Experience leading site teams and subcontractors
- Proficient in MS Project and construction planning systems
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation ability
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee multiple construction projects from inception to completion
- Manage project budgets, forecasting, timelines and quality standards
- Lead contractor, supplier and site team performance
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality and operational standards
- Manage municipal, regulatory and stakeholder engagement
- Drive project delivery milestones and commercial outcomes
