Buyer & Administrator
Durban – Kwa Zulu Natal – South Africa
A well-established engineering and manufacturing operation is seeking a proactive Buyer & Administrator to join its team. This role is heavily focused on procurement and buying activities, while also supporting key administrative and operational functions across the business.
You will be responsible for purchasing raw materials and consumables, coordinating local and international shipments, preparing import/export documentation, sourcing suppliers, processing quotations and proforma invoices, and supporting overseas order dispatch requirements. Additional responsibilities include travel coordination, employee administration, timekeeping, leave management, payment submissions, and general office support.

Minimum Requirements:
- 3–5 years’ buying or procurement experience
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- Computer literacy with exposure to ERP or Sage systems advantageous
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Strong team player with the ability to multitask
