We seek an experienced and detail-oriented Senior SQL Server Developer to join the team in Sandton.
This in-office, full-time role demands at least five years’ experience developing and optimising complex stored procedures within SQL Server, focusing strongly on transactional and operational systems rather than ETL.
You will have expertise in SQL Server hosted on AWS RDS, SQL Server Express, and SSRS report generation.
Familiarity with GitHub for version control and prior experience translating business requirements into technical solutions are essential.
This role involves designing and maintaining stored procedures, optimising database performance, and collaborating with front-end teams to ensure seamless application integration.
You must exhibit strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.
Documentation and presentation skills are critical for securing approval of proposed solutions.
Preferred candidates will have experience in the mining or heavy industry sectors and be familiar with cloud technologies or database migration.
