This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee inventory accuracy, warehousing operations and logistics within a fast-paced distribution environment. You will lead a warehouse team, optimise processes and ensure exceptional service delivery across the supply chain.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric with a relevant tertiary qualification (Diploma or Higher Certificate).
- Minimum 5 years’ warehouse management experience.
- Minimum 8 years’ people management experience.
- Essential background within the automotive sector.
- Strong inventory control, warehousing and logistics experience.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and organisational skills.
- High attention to detail with a customer-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inventory accuracy and stock control across approximately 12,000 SKUs.
- Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, transport and order fulfilment.
- Optimise warehouse layout, storage utilisation and operational efficiency.
- Lead, coach and develop the warehouse team.
- Drive health, safety and compliance standards.
- Manage warehouse equipment, facilities, fleet and document control systems.
- Partner with sales, procurement, workshop and finance teams to improve operational performance and service delivery.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities to enhance warehouse and logistics performance.
