A renowned beauty care manufacturer, distributing premium products to numerous countries worldwide through a global network of distributor partners, seeks a Business Analyst to join its team in Cape Town.
This newly created role sits at the heart of the business, translating distributor purchase data, market trends and performance metrics into insights that shape commercial decisions at the highest level.
You will be a natural investigator, energised by uncovering the story behind the numbers, and will build strong, trusted relationships with distributors across international markets.
Reporting directly to the CEO, this is an office-based role offering significant visibility and the opportunity to influence business performance on a global scale.
Please note this is not a hybrid or flexible working arrangement. The role requires full-time presence in the office.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics or a related commercial field.
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in business analysis, data analysis or a commercial finance role.
- Experience within manufacturing, beauty or a global distributor-model business is essential.
- Advanced MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data modelling).
- Exposure to SYSPRO, SQL, BI tools, Power BI or ERP systems is advantageous.
- Proven ability to work with large datasets and translate data into actionable insight.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and report on distributor purchases against annual targets, providing data-driven insights to the CEO.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributor partners across international markets.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activity and distributor feedback to support commercial planning.
- Partner with distributors to validate data accuracy across financial and reporting systems.
- Prepare board-level performance dashboards highlighting risks, opportunities and growth trends.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align distributor strategy with broader business objectives.
