A leading multinational organisation within the components and industrial sector is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to support its finance operations, with a strong focus on imports, logistics-related financial administration, and cross-border transaction processing.
This role requires a finance professional with hands-on experience managing the financial administration and reconciliation of imported goods into South Africa, including verifying and reconciling invoices issued by shipping, freight forwarding, and logistics providers, along with all supporting import documentation.
You will also manage cross-border invoicing and financial reconciliation linked to product distribution into neighbouring African markets, while maintaining accurate creditor accounts, journals, cashbook processing, and month-end financial reporting.
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma in Accounting or related qualification
- Minimum 4 years of bookkeeping or finance administration experience
- Essential experience handling import documentation, logistics invoices, and cross-border financial transactions
- Strong creditors, reconciliations, and foreign supplier account management
- Exposure to foreign currency transactions
- MS Office proficiency; Navision advantageous
- Strong accuracy, compliance focus, and ability to meet strict deadlines
