Production & Inventory Coordinator

Reporting to the Senior Production Planner, you will support daily production scheduling, inventory control and ERP administration to ensure materials and finished products are available to meet customer demand.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised Production Planning & Inventory Coordinator who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment where accuracy, planning and attention to detail are essential.
 
 Minimum Requirements
  • Matric; a qualification in Supply Chain, Production, Logistics or Operations is advantageous.
  • 2-5 years’ experience in production planning, inventory control or manufacturing administration.
  • Experience in the building solutions sector essential
  • ERP system experience is essential.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and data capture skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively with production, procurement, sales and dispatch teams.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain production schedules and update ERP data.
  • Monitor stock movements and inventory levels.
  • Coordinate stock replenishment requirements.
  • Conduct stock counts and investigate variances.
  • Prepare production and inventory reports.
  • Maintain accurate production and inventory records.
  • Support communication between production, procurement, sales and dispatch.
Assist with production planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
