Statutory & Compliance Accountant

An established international organisation operating within a specialised industrial production and global distribution environment is seeking an experienced Compliance Accountant to take ownership of financial reporting integrity, statutory compliance and governance across local and international operations.
You will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining audit readiness, and managing tax compliance. Support financial governance across a complex multi-jurisdictional business environment.
Minimum Requirements
- CA(SA), SAIPA, ACCA, AGA or equivalent accounting qualification
- 4–6 years’ experience in financial accounting, reporting, or financial control
- Strong experience with AFS preparation, IFRS reporting, audit management, tax and VAT compliance
- Experience within a complex production, international, or export-driven business environment
- ERP systems experience (Syspro, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or similar)
Key Responsibilities
- Manage General Ledger, Trial Balance, and month-end reporting
- Prepare Annual Financial Statements and manage external audits
- Oversee tax, VAT, customs, and statutory compliance
