Senior Accountant
Manufacturing

A divisionally focused finance role responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, maintaining general ledger integrity, and supporting compliance within a structured manufacturing environment. The position requires a technically strong accountant with Syspro exposure, capable of managing reporting cycles, audit readiness, and transactional accuracy while contributing to financial control and operational insight.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (NQF Level 4)
- Finance Degree (NQF Level 6/7 preferred)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- Syspro ERP experience (essential)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel capability
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and post monthly journals to the general ledger
- Compile balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Produce monthly management and sales reporting
- Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset register
- Support audit processes and resolve audit findings
- Ensure accuracy of credit notes and stock adjustments
- Prepare VAT reconciliations and statutory submissions
