Process Thermal Energy – Key Account Manager (Sales)
Seeking an experienced Key Account or Business Development Manager to drive Sales growth across SADEC regions. Leading business expansion and promoting solutions that support customers in achieving their sustainability and energy efficiency goals.
This role is suited for a Technically qualified individual who has a strong passion for sales with a customer-focused mindset.
Essential tertiary qualifications would be showcasing a Tertiary Degree in either Mechanical or Chemical Engineering coupled with 5–10 years’ experience in sales within process industries. Previous proven track record and experience in the Mining or Heavy Industrial sectors, regarding Cooling/Ventilation, Heat Exchangers is essential, with HVAC as advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and executing sales strategies aligned with divisional targets
- Identifying, developing, and converting leads into sustainable business opportunities
- Structure and manage customer accounts in collaboration with Business Unit and Divisional Managers
- Prepare and present competitive proposals with strong follow-through to close deals
- Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and sales reporting using CRM tools
- Represent the organisation at industry events, seminars, and webinars (excellent presentation skills)
- Mentor and support regional sales teams to enhance performance and efficiency’
