Production Planner

This role is responsible for coordinating production planning and maintaining accurate operational data to support efficient plant performance. You will manage the production statistical database, compile operational reports, and reconcile production stock, including raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods, for weekly, month-end, and annual reporting.
You will ensure the timely sourcing and availability of raw materials to support uninterrupted production, while maintaining accurate SAP records and monitoring variances between physical stock and system data. This role requires strong analytical ability, operational discipline, and a high level of attention to detail to support production targets and cost control.
Requirements
- Matric with a National Diploma in Production / Industrial Management or Chemical / Electrical Engineering discipline
- Approximately 3 years’ experience in production planning or supervisory roles within heavy manufacturing or engineering environments (Aggregate/Concrete/ Quarry experience)
- Strong Excel capability and working knowledge of SAP ERP systems
- Ability to compile and present accurate production and operational reports
