A well-established industrial operation seeks a disciplined SHEQ Officer to lead Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality compliance across its facility. Reporting to the Operations Director, the role is responsible for maintaining robust SHEQ management systems while ensuring compliance with Major Hazard Installation (MHI) regulations and Atmospheric Emissions Licence (AEL) requirements.
You will drive process safety management, regulatory compliance and environmental governance to protect employees, assets and the surrounding environment while supporting operational efficiency and quality standards.
Essential Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Chemical, Mechanical or Process Engineering.
- Professional certification advantageous (NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent).
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a SHEQ role within a manufacturing, industrial or processing environment.
- Knowledge of MHI regulations and Atmospheric Emissions Licence (AEL) compliance is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of process safety management, risk assessments and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, reporting and documentation skills.
