Group HR Manager

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Group HR Manager is accountable for leading and integrating the human resources function across the Group. This role acts as the strategic and operational link between leadership and employees, embedding people-first principles while ensuring compliance, workforce effectiveness, and sustainable organisational growth.
The role leads labour planning, recruitment, employee engagement, performance and succession, retention, transformation, employee relations, and CCMA matters, while ensuring effective HR governance, reward, development, employment equity, BBBEE compliance, and legally compliant HR systems across the Group.
You will partner closely with senior leadership to shape organisational structures, build leadership capability, strengthen culture, and manage complex employee relations with confidence and credibility.
This role suits a decisive, values-driven HR leader with strong judgement, integrity, and the ability to operate confidently at the executive level.
Requirements
- Relevant Tertiary Qualifications
- Grade 12 with Mathematics
- Minimum 5 years’ HR management experience
- Manufacturing or Mining sector experience is required
- Fluency in English and Afrikaans
- Strong labour relations and CCMA exposure
- ERP system experience (SAGE advantageous)
- Intermediate to advanced MS Excel and Word skills
