We are actively seeking talented Junior Lab Analysts for our esteemed client in the food and beverage sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic lab department.
Position Overview:
As a Junior Lab Analyst, you will play a vital role in maintaining the quality and safety of products. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in Analytical Chemistry and a passion for laboratory work.
Requirements
- National Diploma (Analytical Chemistry) or equivalent
- Knowledge of relevant food safety requirements will be an added advantage
- 1 – 2 years post qualification experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- IT Literate in Microsoft applications
- A strong self-starter, self motivated with a flexible and adaptable working appraoch – SHIFT WORK
- Team player
Key Responsibilities:
- Input accurate data into electronic platforms (PowerBI, Entecom).
- Conduct chemical and microbiological analyses according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Calibrate laboratory instruments during shifts.
- Support compliance with BRC standards as directed by the Quality Assurance Coordinator (QAC).
- Maintain a tidy workspace in accordance with 5S principles.
