Shift Supervisor – PE

We are seeking an experienced Shift Supervisor to oversee plant operations, production, and maintenance activities while ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality output.
This role is accountable for leading teams, driving compliance, and delivering against production targets in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Minimum Qualifications
- Matric (Grade 12) – Mathematics (HG) preferred
- Diploma in a Technical or Production-related discipline (NQF 6) – Required
- Certificate in Technical or Production fields (NQF 5) – Advantageous
- Trade Test (NQF 5) and/or First Line Management Certificate (NQF 5) – Advantageous
Experience
- 5 years in Production/Maintenance within manufacturing (incl. 2 years supervisory)
- Shift-work exposure (up to 3 years) – Advantageous
Technical & Professional Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, ERP, and job-specific systems
- In-depth knowledge of plant production and maintenance processes
- Strong understanding of safety, environmental, and manufacturing regulations
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Proactive, action-oriented, and resilient under pressure
- Strong decision-making, planning, and problem-solving abilities
