A leading industrial group is seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Technician to lead and manage technical support and maintenance activities, ensuring seamless operations and strict compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Reporting to the O&M Manager and supported by a dedicated team of lab, store, maintenance, and monitoring staff, this role plays a crucial part in delivering reliable equipment performance and outstanding customer service. Minimum Qualifications:
- 3-phase qualified installation electrician.
- Electrical Engineering Diploma advantageous.
Experience Required:
- 3–5 years’ proven experience in fault finding, system integration, and solar installations.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient computer literacy (MS Office Suite, SAP, ERP systems, job-specific software).
- Strong understanding of production, engineering, sales, and marketing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver dependable technical support with minimal equipment downtime.
- Plan and execute proactive maintenance to maximise asset life and prevent disruptions.
- Ensure full compliance with safety and ISO maintenance standards.
- Resolve internal and external customer issues professionally and within SLA timelines.
