Assistant Financial Manager

An exceptional opportunity exists for a dynamic and driven CA(SA) to join a high-growth business as an Assistant Financial Manager supporting two Senior Finance Managers. This newly created position forms part of a strategic restructure aimed at succession planning and skills development.
With structured rotation between two key finance portfolios—operational Reporting and Procurement—this role offers deep exposure to end-to-end finance operations and a defined path for career advancement into a Senior FM position.
Minimum Requirements:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) SA – Essential
- Articles completed at a major audit company
- Minimum 3 years post-articles experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- South African citizenship required
- Strong proficiency in large ERP systems (SAP/SYSPRO), MS Office, and advanced Excel
Technical Competencies:
- Fixed asset management, capitalisation, and insurance support
- Monthly management accounts, board reports, group financials, and statutory reporting
- Tax preparation and deferred tax computation reviews
- Oversight of oil procurement costings, forex exposure, supplier reconciliation, and LC applications
- Cash flow forecasting and Reserve Bank compliance
- Hands-on systems development and team supervision
