Join a manufacturing leader in delivering high-performance solutions. We seek a proactive and technically astute Quality Specialist to uphold compliance, drive quality excellence, and support continuous improvement across all production and supplier processes.
This role is key in maintaining standards aligned to IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3 while managing product integrity, customer satisfaction, and internal system performance. This role reports to the Quality Assurance Officer and requires a hands-on, detail-oriented professional ready to make an immediate impact.
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12); Diploma preferred
- Certificate in Quality Assurance; Green Belt advantageous
- 3+ years’ experience in OEM and manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of Batteries is highly advantageous
Technical and Functional Skills:
- Strong grasp of IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, layered audits, Six Sigma, Poke-Yoke
- Quality system development and implementation for single-site operations
- Root cause analysis, corrective actions, and statistical problem-solving tools
- Benchmarking and integration of quality best practices
- Supplier audits and development to ensure robust part quality
Key Deliverables:
- Conduct inspections and product conformity checks (BOM, aesthetic, functional)
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints and claims with root causes
- Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to maintain quality standards
- Uphold HSE standards and champion a quality-driven culture throughout the plant
