An excellent opportunity exists for an entry-level IT Field Support Technician based in Cape Town or surrounding areas.
 
This mobile role requires:
  • A valid driver’s license, a reliable car, and a non-Chinese smartphone.
  • A National Certificate or Diploma in Information Technology or a related field
  • With 0–2 years of experience in IT support.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities are essential, along with a solid understanding of IT hardware, software, and services.
 
Key Required Technical Skills:
  • ability to install, configure, and repair laptops, desktops, and peripherals on-site.
  • Familiarity with OHS practices and the ability to use various systems and procedures is expected.
  • Effective administrative and scheduling skills
  • The capability to train new users is critical.
  • Preferred candidates will hold certifications such as A+, N+, MCSE, and vendor-specific accreditations (Dell, HP, Lenovo, Lexmark).
 
The position requires flexibility to work alternate weekends and after hours as part of a standby rotation. Ideal for ambitious IT professionals seeking hands-on field experience in a dynamic and service-driven environment.
